RIVALS TAKE IT TO COURT

The rivalry between Beaverton and Gladwin took to the court last Wednesday when the Flying G’s hosted the Beavers for a 7th grade basketball game and then an 8th grade game. Gladwin’s 7th grade team won 40-6. Liam Pohlman scored nine points and Ivan Christensen had eight.

Beaverton hosts ice racing event

BEAVERTONRoss Lake hosted the first of three ice races slated for this winter on Sunday and a field of 55 drivers were on hand to tackle the course in seven different classes.
