After racking up the first win of the season the week before, the Gladwin junior varsity football team ran into a road block Thursday night in a 47-14 loss to visiting Shepherd.
“They were bigger than we are and way more physical,” said Flying G’s coach Justin Cherry.
“They had 11 sophomores and a couple of freshmen out there who were bigger than me.”
