The Gladwin freshman volleyball team played its first tournament Saturday in Pinconning.
In pool play, the Flying G’s beat Standish and Pinconning and split with Saginaw Nouvel and Ogemaw Heights to finish second and advance to bracket play.
Gladwin beat Pinconning, but lost in the final to Ogemaw Heights to finish second.
