Beaverton runs second twice; Flying G’s excel individually
Beaverton’s Silas Finney and Gladwin’s Aiden Harrison compete at a Jack Pine Conference jamboree. The Beavers were second at two invitationals last week and the Flying G’s fourth at Mount Pleasant.
Gladwin’s Myles Robinson and Gabe Piach each earned a medal Saturday at the Oiler Blue and Gold Invitational Saturday in Mount Pleasant.

Two meets brought two second-place trophies to the Beaverton boys’ cross country team last week.
On Tuesday, the Beavers rose up out of the Pumpkin Patch Invitational and finished second with 74 points.
Roscommon won the title with 45 and Beal City was third with 85 in the field of eight teams competing at a pumpkin patch in Mount Pleasant.
