Robert Steven (Steve) Bennett
Robert Steven (Steve) Bennett, age 70, was born Feb. 23, 1952 in Midland, Michigan, and died suddenly Jan. 16, 2023.
He moved around a lot as a child. Some of his best memories were of his time in Arizona exploring the desert.
He is survived by his wife, Marlene Orvis Bennett, whom he married on June 3, 1976 and one son, Joshua Bennett. Joshua married Jillian Fistler in 2003 and they have nine children, Logan, Jaden, Jacob, Josie, Jordan, Jeremiah, Jonathon, Jemma and Josiah. Steve was very proud of Josh, his wife and grandchildren, taking every opportunity to talk about them.
Steve always had a project going – he was very creative and artistic. Many people still have artistic objects made of antler and bone, and lovely handmade wooden boxes signed by him. He loved to play chess and dominos with friends. He could create something to solve any issue.
He touched at lot of lives and will be greatly missed by many. Memorial services are pending.
