Norma Jean Agar of Gladwin, Michigan passed away on February 10, 2023, in Lakeland, Florida at the age of 89. Norma was born in Pontiac, Michigan on February 21, 1933, to Harold and Verna Welch. She moved from Waterford, Michigan to Gladwin, Michigan where she lived for 26 years.
Norma worked for GM for many years. She loved playing cards, painting, playing bunco. Norma loved her football and her Detroit Tigers. Norma was a member of the Red Hat’s and volunteered at the Gladwin Hospital Gift Shop.
Norma will be deeply missed by her children, Tony Garbovits, Brenda (Don) Boutwell, Sherron Metrick, Deborah (Clarence) Head, Maggie (Jerry) Lazenby, Richard (Lisa) Garbovits and Roxanne (Steve) Nelson; her sister, Deloree Bartkowiak;11 grandchildren, 18 greatgrandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Agar and her three brothers.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
