Margaret P. Woody, age 97, of Gladwin, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026. She was born on Oct. 2, 1928, the daughter of James and Bertha (Wanamaker) Hooper, in Waverly, TN.
On Dec. 18, 1965, she married the love of her life, Ralph Woody. Together they shared 48 years filled with love and cherished memories until he preceded her in death in 2013.
Margaret was outgoing, she loved crocheting and was a great cook. Most of all, she loved her family, cherishing the time she spent with them.
She is survived by her children: Danny Woody, Wayne Woody, Terry Woody, Sharon De-Bruyne, and Bob Rice; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and great-greatgranddaughter, Rose.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, her parents, and children: David Rice, James Ralph Woody, and Sheila Woody.
Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, 1 p.m., at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin. Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin. She will be laid to rest at McClure Cemetery.
