Marc W. Bloxsom was born on September 20, 1956 to Ward and Jean Bloxsom in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
He attended Grand Blanc High School where he and his older brother, Brent Bloxsom, were both part of the wrestling team. Marc finished first in his conference meet his senior year.
He went on to attend Eastern Michigan University where he majored in business and joined the Phi Sigma Epsilon chapter.
After graduation, he utilized his entrepreneurial spirit and Bloxsom Charm as a persuasive salesman and even opened up his own restaurant.
He lived in Huntington Woods, where he raised his two amazing sons, Joe and Brad, with his wife, Stefanie.
He then moved to nearby Berkley, where he joined the Fraternal Order of Eagles and eventually became the President of the Madison Heights Eagles Chapter.
After a life of hard work, Marc achieved his lifelong dream of retiring on the water in Gladwin, where he immediately developed fantastic friends and made a huge impact on the local community. He affected the lives of so many people and will be greatly missed.
Surviving are his children, Brad W. Bloxsom, Joe W.
Bloxsom, and a brother, Brent W. Bloxsom.
Visitation was at the Sawyer-Fuller Funeral Home, 2125 Twelve Mile Road in Berkley, (two blocks west of Woodward Avenue), on Friday, March 3 from 2-8 p.m., with a Fraternal Order of Eagles service at 7 p.m.
Funeral was at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 4, at the funeral home.
Mr. Bloxsom was cremated according to his wishes.
