Frank Salciccioli, age 92, passed away peacefully, Thursday November 24, 2022 at his home in Gladwin, Michigan. He was born in Detroit Michigan on July 21, 1930 to the late Giuseppe and Christina (Fondy) Salcicciloi, where he was raised and went to school in Detroit.
He married Betty Gildstein February 14, 1953 where they raised their three children before they moved to Gladwin in November 1972. Frank took seven years to build the White Star Motel by hand, that him and Betty opened in 1979. Frank loved carpentry and building many things for his family and friends. He will be remembered for all of his fine craftsmanship and his love for Mickey Mouse.
He liked to travel and visit with family members in Canada as well as Minnesota. He was a loving father and grandfather and cherished mostly spending time with his grandson, Mike and great-granddaughter, Lilly.
He is survived by his son, Joe Salciccioli; daughter, Tony (Curt) David-Wheeler; grandson, Michael (Telisha); and great-granddaughter, Lilly Becker; granddaughter, Zena; and great-grandchildren, Layne and Lylah Schaudt.
He was preceded in death by his late wife, Betty Salciccioli; daughter, Tina Salciccioli; and his sons-inlaw, Torrey David and Greg Ganssley.
Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
