Barbara C. McMahan
Barbara C. McMahan, 87, of Beaverton, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023.
She was born on February 1, 1935, the daughter of Buhl and Wilda (Thompson) Burt in Pontiac. On July 2, 1966, she was united in marriage to Homer McMahan. They have shared 56 years of marriage. In 1971, they moved to Beaverton.
Barbara worked for Fruchey Family Market as a cashier for over 30 years. She loved living on the water, going on trips to Nashville, camping with family and friends, and spending winters in Florida and Arizona. She was a member of the Gladwin Eagles 3292 for 47 years.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Homer McMahan; children, Randy (Denise) Holmes, Peggy Hendricks, Ron Holmes, and Mark McMahan; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sisters: Linda (Dick) Pifer and Phyllis (John) Greer; along with several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Christie Machinski; and sister, Janet Manley.
