Spring Lake caused Gladwin’s defense to spring a few leaks Thursday night and spoiled the home opener for the Flying G’s with a 43-6 victory.
“They are a team that forces you to defend the whole field and play assignment football on all levels,” said Gladwin coach Kody Emeott, “and although we played well at times, we had some breaks at the wrong times and couldn’t overcome them.”
