GLADWIN COUNTY
Property fraud is a growing white-collar crime where thieves record documents against your property in an effort to establish ownership for financial gain.
“I am excited to announce that at the Register of Deeds Office in Gladwin County, we now offer a free service to our constituents to protect against property fraud,” Ann Manning-Clayton, Register of Deeds, stated.
To protect yourself be vigilant and subscribe to the free Document Alert service. Document Alert sends you an automated email alert any time a document is recorded in our office using your name and property’s parcel number. You then decide if the recording is legitimate or fraudulent and take the necessary actions.
