The M-30 Bridge, at the Edenville Dam, will close M-30 for a majority of 2024. In order to use Dale Road for the detour route, the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be overlaying Dale Road in 2023, from M-30 to M-18. Before that happens, the Gladwin County Road Comission will be wedging/widening/ prepping the existing asphalt. The road will be built up and repaired, prior to the new surface being applied later this summer. Old culverts were beginning to be replaced this past week.
