Local CTE students and City of Gladwin employees teamed up to create a sign celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States. The sign was on display at Beaverton’s Fourth of July parade and played a role in Gladwin winning the “Most Original” trophy (left) awarded by parade organizers. It also made an appearance at City Park on Sunday, where Gladwin Gathers hosted an ice cream social featuring games and other family-friendly events.

The Fourth of July weekend sparked quite a celebration in the City of Gladwin.
The excitement began down the road in Beaverton, where Gladwin proudly featured its new “250th Lady Liberty” commemorative metal sign in the parade.
