The Gladwin County Sheriff’s Office responded to a crash between an Amish buggy and a Jeep Cherokee Friday afternoon in Butman Township that resulted in the death of an Amish woman.
The damage was extensive after a 2006 Jeep Cherokee struck an Amish buggy Friday in Butman Township.

On Friday, August 1, 2025, at approximately 2:30 p.m., deputies from the Gladwin County Sheriff’s Office were called to investigate a personal injury accident upon Round Lake Road, (F-97), south of Renas Road in Butman Township, involving a motor vehicle and Amish buggy.
