LANSINGOn Friday, the Michigan Secretary of State, along with state and community partners, will hold a Road to Restoration Driver’s license restoration clinic in Gladwin on Friday, June 6 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Michigan Works!, 110 Buckeye St., in Gladwin. Walk-ins will be accepted from 12 p.m.

This week’s photo recalls a major milestone for Beaverton Schools. For years the basketball games and many other school activities were carried out in the Community Building that stood just south of where the Gem Theater is today.
