Health emergencies linked to recreational nitrous oxide use increase significantly

LANSINGThe Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) is warning residents about a dramatic increase in emergency health care incidents related to recreational use of nitrous oxide or “laughing gas” in Michigan.

DEAR PAW’S CORNER: I moved from a suburb to the mountains a couple of months ago, and while my dogs are thrilled to have several acres to run free on, I’m terrified that they will be bitten by rattlesnakes. A neighbor said that they are plentiful out here.
