Iwas settled into my “Comfy Chair” for my evening nap, and I looked around on the floor. My eyes gazed at a beautiful sight: tired, sleeping dogs. After a good day of doggie activities, seeing them sleep looking like furry angels is a comforting sight!

Klott named to Dean’s List at Marquette University

DNR biologists remove lid stuck on bear’s neck for two years

LANSINGIn a case that highlights the importance of Michigan’s bear-baiting regulations, state wildlife biologists in Montmorency County recently removed a plastic lid from the neck of a young black bear that had carried the encumbrance around for two years.

Backpack Buddies needs help

GLADWINThe Gladwin Backpack Buddies (Weekend Food) Program is a program, through the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan which sends weekend nutritional food home to 96 Gladwin children (kindergarten-fifth grade) who have been identified by the school social worker to have food insecurity at home.
