The Gladwin Kiwanis Club is celebrating the 2026 Gladwin High School (GHS) Key Club graduates. Key Club members learn leadership, responsibility and service, while having lots of fun!

GLADWINThe Gladwin-based Yetti Old World Cuisine food truck brought home two awards from the recent Novi BBQ Festival.The four-day event was held in the parking lot at Twelve Oaks Mall and attracted an array of competitors that included the Carolina Rib King from Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Golf outing raises funds for Gladwin County veterans

GLADWINThe Gladwin County Veterans Relief Fund Golf Outing was held Monday at Sugar Springs Golf Course to raise money to provide emergency help for local veterans who cannot get financial aid from other sources or programs.

New study criticizes long prison stays

LANSINGAnewly released report suggests Michigan’s effort to reduce prison stays has stalled.The Crime and Justice Institute said there was a three percent increase in the prison population between 2021 and 2023, “with more individuals receiving additional sentences while already incarcerated.

Koehler named to Spring 2026 Dean’s List
