In an effort to raise money for local schools, United Way of Clare and Gladwin Counties are seeking to raise $10,000 for the weekend backpack programs in Clare and Gladwin County schools. United Way will receive a match for the first $5,000 in donations that they receive before April 1, making a total of $10,000. All of the funds raised will go to Clare and Gladwin County backpack programs.
