    GLADWIN COUNTY

    This past spring, Tristan Hewitt and Joe Nash, with the Gladwin Conservation District, visited the second graders at Beaverton and Gladwin Schools. Although the highlight for the students may have been receiving their very own red pine seedling to plant, this visit also included learning about the environment, forestry, and proper tree planting.
