Christmas Kindness supporters have already been visiting our Christmas Kindness office, located at 963 N. M-18, Gladwin (across from King Lumber). Men and women, young and old, are stopping by to unload their donations of coats, hats, gloves, warm socks, and blankets; along with toys, books, games, arts & crafts, and stuffed animals. They are reaching out with financial donations and coming in to “adopt” children for Distribution Day 2025.
It’s always fun to see our “Clearance Shoppers Extraordinaire,” Terrie Foutch from Gladwin and Tina Stornello from Beaverton, who never cease to amaze us at the incredible “meal deals” they find! They show up multiple times throughout the year with their cars loaded so full you couldn’t put a comb in there… LOL!!! A huge “shout out” to Lou Stornello of T & J Auto in Beaverton for his financial support that allows Tina to do her “Christmas Kindness thing.” We’re truly grateful for your hearts toward Gladwin County children in need!
Gary and Pat Allen brought in all kinds of treasures for our Christmas Kindness kiddos to enjoy! It’s always good to see Pat and catch up on our former Judge Allen, who has always supported Gladwin County communities! Carolyn Mc-Namara gets together with the “Tittabawassee Tarts” once a month for lunch and fun activities. This month Carolyn and her friends Marilyn and Wendy Rowe, Carol Archambault, and Betty Doucette decided to head to the bin store in Beaverton called, “Dig In.” They purchased Nerf guns, stickers, a backpack, blanket, and miscellaneous items for Christmas Kindness kids! Thanks girls for making Christmas Kindness a part of your day!!! The “Uplifting Fairies Of Mid-Michigan” are a group on Facebook who help people in need, and they chose to visit our Christmas Kindness office with coats, boots, hats, and stocking stuffers! Thank you so much!
