The Beaverton Leo Club recently elected leadership for their 2023 to 2024 school year. The Leo Club is one of 7,400 student clubs worldwide and one of the largest in the State of Michigan. Sponsored by the Beaverton Lions Club, the Leo Club has a number of annual projects and kicked off with participation in the Beaverton, Fourth of July parade. Leo Clubs are designed to help members grow as individuals and as a leader, joining a global family of young people making their community and world a better place. Club projects already underway include Christmas baskets, food distribution assistance, Festival of Lights Parade and a variety of other school and community volunteer efforts.
