GLADWIN – The Envoys will have a concert on July 8, 7 p.m., at Emmanuel Baptist Church located at 3089 Pratt Lake Road in Gladwin.

Please visit the Envoys website at www.theenvoys.com for song samples, biographical information, photos and schedules.

For many decades the Envoys have been blessed to share their music in churches of all denominations, camp meetings, annual meetings, television shows, rest homes and schools. An Envoys concert is a balance of joy, inspiration and humor using traditional, progressive Gospel and Southern Gospel music.

The Envoys group members are Mark Liner on tenor, Dan Mills on lead, Val Cripps on baritone and Phil Felten on bass. Each of the Envoys members committed his life to Jesus Christ at a young age. Mark and Dan are ordained ministers and both pastored their own churches for many years. Val and Phil were Christian college roommates, sang in the college quartet as young men and have sung alongside one another ever since.

Over the years the Envoys have appeared on the Grand Old Opry, the National Quartet Convention, the 700 Club and gone on a mission trip to share their music in Nigeria, West Africa. The word envoy means messenger and the Envoys endeavor to bring a message of the Good News in music wherever and whenever they sing. A love offering will be taken.
