GLADWIN – Each year, the Gladwin Kiwanis Club provides a dictionary for each third grader in Gladwin County. Each year, the students are excited to have their very own dictionary. Many students comment on remembering when their older brother or sister got their dictionary and how they still use them.

Each year the schools give a count of their third graders and Kiwanis moves into action. At the end of September, a total of 101 dictionaries were provided to the Gladwin Elementary School; 36 dictionaries were provided to the Beaverton Elementary School; and four were provided to the Skeels Christian School.
