Memorial golf outing

To the Editor:

On behalf of the family of Randy Willford, we would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to all the sponsors, volunteers, and golfers who made the first annual Randy Willford Memorial Golf Scramble a huge success, and a ton of fun! Without all of you, it would not have been as successful. Also, we would like to give a special thank you to Gladwin Heights Golf Course for hosting the event. Furthermore, we thank Darren McCarty and Eddie Murray for spending the day golfing with us. If you unfortunately missed out on all the fun, worry not, the second annual Randy Willford Memorial Golf Scramble has been scheduled for June 27, 2021. Join us on Facebook for updates. Search for Randy Willford Memorial Golf Outing or watch for our flyer next year, closer to the date of the event.

Thank you to sponsors

To the Editor:

On behalf of the Gladwin County Fair board and all of its volunteers, we would like to take a second to thank our sponsors for their donations to the Gladwin County Fair during this uncertain time. Your donations will be used for maintenance of the fairgrounds, tractor, lawn mower payments, etc. We understand that it was very generous of you to give your donation during the uncertain times that we live in. We appreciate all that you have given to us throughout the years and we hope that you will continue to donate. We would like to thank Lee-Ramsay Funeral Homes and Rivertown Funeral Chapel, S & S Home Maintenance, S & H Engraving, Robinson Industries, and Alward Electric.

We appreciate all that you have donated to keep our fairgrounds running during this time. We hope to continue to serve the community for many years to come. We are looking forward to seeing you in 2021. Thank you from the Gladwin County Fair board and its volunteers.

Thank you for hard work

To the Editor:

I think it is time to thank our engineers and contractors who are fixing our bridges. They work out in all types of weather. Good job on a great job on the U.S. 10 bridge over Sanford Lake. They worked very hard and fast for everyone.
