GLADWIN – On Saturday, Feb. 16 at 10 a.m. there will be a community seminar at At Home on Cedar, in beautiful downtown Gladwin. This seminar is open to the public and participants will learn about furniture, furniture construction and furniture design.
Have you ever wondered what to look for in furniture when you are at an estate sale, garage sale, thrift store, or even what has been passed down to you from your grandparents?
What do terms like welt, diamond tufted, boxing, skirt, coil springs, no sags, channel back, loose cushion, etc. all mean?
This seminar will be presented by Culver Upholstery, which is a family-operated business in Gladwin. Master craftsman, Dale Culver, who has over 75 years of upholstery experience along with his daughter, Daleen Siegert, who is not only an upholsterer but has an Interior Design degree, will discuss the ins and outs of furniture from frame to fabric.
Seating is limited for this FREE event. Coffee and refreshments will be supplied by Northern Expresso.
Your kind RSVP is very helpful, so please call 989-426-9221 or stop in at 125 W. Cedar to reserve your place for this exciting seminar.
